Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars shocking elimination (videos)

I've been watching every episode of the 15th season of Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars and have to say that last night's elimination was the most shocking I've seen. The show started off by giving the results for those who had the lowest scores on the leader board, combined with their scores from last week. The three couples who were up for elimination, Sabrina and Louis, Apolo and Karina and Melissa and Tony, actually had the highest scores. Sabrina and Louis just landed three perfect 10s on Monday night's dance show.

Those perfect scores weren't enough. Sabrina and Louis were given the cut. If you watch the video, you'll see that Sabrina looked as if she were well composed, but she began to cry.

Governor Chris Christie on FOX & Friends Provides Update on Hurricane Sandy, Could Care Less about Presidential Elections (video)

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie made an appearance on Fox and Friends on October 30, 2012, where he provided an update on the condition of his state following Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy. I'm a big fan of Governor Christie's and admire his passion and willingness to speak his mind. The guy is pretty tough.

When Fox and Friends asked him questions regarding his views regarding touring the state and damage with Mitt Romney, Governor Christie shut them down quickly. He made it clear that the only thing he is interested in right now is the condition of his state, helping those in need, and eventually rebuilding New Jersey.

Presidential elections are the last thing on his mind.

What did you think of Governor Christie's response? Did you think it was too harsh or appropriate?

Zooey Deschanel sings National Anthem: Love it or Hate it? (videos)

For me, there is only one version of the National Anthem and every other attempt is compared to that standard. You know what I’m going to say, don’t you? That’s right: Whitney Houston. Whitney Houston delivered the most phenomenal National Anthem I’ve ever heard and what she did to the word “free” is mind boggling. Maybe that’s why I was less than impressed with Fox’ “New Girl’s” Zooey Deschanel’s version

I’m not saying she has a bad voice, I wouldn’t go that far. She definitely has a nostalgic, classic quality that is highly marketable. She’s an Indie voice and there’s plenty of room for her. I just don’t think she should have been singing the National Anthem where it really is do or die. As soon as someone opens their mouth to sing that song, I’m instantly comparing them to Whitney. I can’t help it.

She is the Queen of the Anthem, and when I compare Zooey to Whitney there is simply no competition.

Now, some people are just being mean to Zooey and slamming her singing, saying she can’t sing at all.

What do you think? Did you hear her version? If not, check it out below.

Honestly, I was more impressed with Zooey Deschanel’s eyes than her voice.

I couldn’t leave this post without adding Whitney’s version. Make sure to listen to Whitney’s version of the National Anthem.

R.I.P. Whitney, you left us far too soon.
